General Terms and Conditions – Luna Tailored Pet Care
1. General
These general terms and conditions apply to all services of Luna Tailored Pet Care. By using the services, the client agrees to these terms and conditions.
2. Services
Luna Tailored Pet Care offers in-home pet sitting, dog walking services, and relaxing visits. The services are performed in accordance with the agreements made. All pet care services are provided in the client's home. Luna Tailored Pet Care does not offer boarding or overnight accommodation in my own home.
3. Appointments and Cancellation
Appointments may be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours prior to the agreed date and time. In the event of cancellation within 24 hours prior to the appointment, Luna Tailored Pet Care is entitled to charge 50% of the agreed rate. If a client fails to appear or is not present at the agreed time without prior notice (no-show), Luna Tailored Pet Care is entitled to charge 100% of the agreed rate.
4. Cancellation of weekly serviced packages
Weekly service packages may be cancelled by either the owner or Luna Tailored Pet Care with a minimum of 7 days' written notice.
5. Payment
Payment must be made within the agreed period. In the event of non-payment, Luna Tailored Pet Care reserves the right to suspend services.
6. Travel Expenses
No travel expenses are charged within Eindhoven. For appointments outside Eindhoven, a travel allowance may apply. The amount of this allowance will be agreed upon with the client in advance and stated on the quotation or invoice.
7. Liability
Luna Tailored Pet Care is not liable for damage, loss, or injury, unless there is gross negligence. The owner remains responsible for the behavior and health of the animal.
8. Health and Behavior of the Animal
The owner is obliged to provide all relevant information about the animal, such as medical records and behavioral characteristics. Luna Tailored Pet Care reserves the right to refuse services in the event of risks.
9. Key Management
If a key is handed over, it will be kept carefully and confidentially in accordance with the key agreement.
10. Force Majeure
In the event of force majeure (such as illness or unforeseen circumstances), Luna Tailored Pet Care reserves the right to modify or cancel appointments.
11. Applicable Law
Dutch law applies to all agreements.
12. Use of photo and video material
Luna Tailored Pet Care reserves the right to take photos and/or videos of the pets during the provision of services. This visual material may be used for promotional purposes, such as on social media and the website. The customer's privacy is handled with care in this regard; personal data and address details.
13. Hotel Pet Care Services
These Terms & Conditions also apply to all Hotel Pet Care Services provided by Luna Tailored Pet Care. The pet care agreement is entered into directly between the pet owner and Luna Tailored Pet Care. The hotel acts solely as a referring party unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The owner is responsible for providing complete and accurate information regarding the pet’s health, behaviour, medication and any potential risks, and for arranging any necessary permission or access within the hotel. Luna Tailored Pet Care reserves the right to modify, refuse or discontinue a service if necessary for the safety or wellbeing of the pet, the pet care provider or third parties.
In case of a medical emergency, reasonable attempts will first be made to contact the owner or emergency contact. If necessary for the pet’s wellbeing, Luna Tailored Pet Care may seek veterinary assistance. Any related veterinary costs are the responsibility of the owner, unless legally attributable to Luna Tailored Pet Care.
The standard cancellation policy also applies to Hotel Pet Care Services: free cancellation up to 24 hours before the scheduled service, 50% of the agreed fee for cancellations within 24 hours, and 100% of the agreed fee in case of a no-show. Additional time for Hotel Pet Sitting is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
By booking a Hotel Pet Care Service, the owner agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
